現在の研究課題

これまでの研究分野は,(1)密度界面における連行現象の解明,熱対流,海洋の循環等の環境水理学に関する研究,(2)都市のヒートアイランド現象に関連した大気環境に関する研究,(3)河川や湖沼の生態に関する研究,現在は(3)を特化させ,砂州の草本化や樹林化の機構の解明,大型水生植物や付着藻の生長と分解過程,物質循環への役割,河川上流部の有機物収支,動植物プランクトンや魚等の生態に関して,現地観測,室内実験,数学モデルの開発やそれを用いた生態解析に従事している。
